Amazing boat!
Has Blackman made many boats > 26ft.? If so, how do they move them from their shop to the water!?!?! The last time I was at the Blackman shop there was a 29ft (I think) boat being built on the side of the building and I was amazed that they were going to be able to get that thing out of the driveway!

Was the 37' created at the Blackman shop?

They hire an outside boat moving company to transport the new boats from the shop to SD Harbor.

I bet that moving a boat that size is a fairly sensitive endeavor!!! It would be amazing to see though :)

Is 1500-$2000 for a 29' sensitive enough for ya?

It's not the cost (although I would have guessed it to be more than $2000). Just moving a boat that size (37') out of the Blackman driveway and out onto Market St. would be pretty darn impressive in my book.

I'm not sure if they built Don's 48' Retriever completely at the shop or down on the water; that would be a sight!

Sensative, a truck carrying a large boat did not use a good tape measure several years ago on Hwy 5 north. If you look at the bridge overpass going north after the 15 exit around National City you will see what happens when a flybridge hits cement. Most of it came off while the rest was lodged under the roof of the overpass.
I guess a few $$$ to get it to the bay should OK.
