There were a pair of new crankcase breathers for the 40 series engines on ebay for $12 each. That's less than half what I've paid for them in the past.

Grabbed one and left one for someone else.

Where's my line cutter? Don't know why they would discontinue such a useful item!

It's all about the money. Discontinue a $20 line cutter and you can sell the heck out of seals, bearings and gears from now on.

Those line cutters were all over ebay a few months ago. Now that you want one, they're nowhere to be found.

Story of my life, a day late or a dollar short!

The breather looks like a very good buy. The one I have on the Hijole has about 600 hours and doing just fine.

I know the name of the part on the OD is a line cutter. I don't know if it does any line cutting but we need to have it on to transfer the current from the prop to the zinc. I think the name is deceiving.
Are they available? I replaced mine about 10 years ago because they were broken. They changed the design and they look as good as new.

Volvo no longer makes the line cutter for the Duo Props. I got real lucky a few months ago and found a new set on ebay for $50.
