Hit the bay again today. Not a breath of wind and a very weak outgoing tide in the morning made it real tough to find any fish. I think I had 2 shorts by noon when the tide started filling in and the wind kicked up.
Just after lunch I found where the bait was hiding and took full advantage of the incoming tide and afternoon breeze. Over the next 4 hours it was pretty steady action with 20+ shorts and one 25" fish that came home for dinner.
