With all the little Dorado around I thought it would be a good idea to down size the tackle a bit. Headed out today with my surf perch rod in hand and had a ball getting my ass kicked by those little guys. You would think catching 4 pound fish on 6 pound string would be a good match up.
Got a lot of use out of the lower steering station today. Hook and chase was the name of the game today.
One guy out by the 43 said he did great on the YFT under the porpoise while others swore the area was a barren waist land and a few fish reported from the Fly.
