Gave the Yellowfin a break and hit up the inshore brownfin stuff today. Worked SD Bay form 7am-2pm for 30 short and 3 keepers. The bay is still holding true to the 10:1 ratio on short to keepers.

Only one minor problem today, some dumb ass took all the halibut gear off the boat when he loaded up the marlin gear last month. I was really scrounging for hooks and leader material for the last two hours of the day.

The small ones were #6 and the big one was under #10. Found a couple good schools, one stop was a 15 fish stop before the bite shut down.

I didn't know you could catch them off porpoise schools too!

The 15 fish stop was in front of the porpoise pen. Does that count?
