12/29 Birthday cod

Treated myself to an all expense paid trip to the lower 9 for my birthday.

I started out below N. island on some old number that used to kick out some nice reds and Lings. Not a bite in two hours so I move to my lucky Greenspot rock. Managed to salvage the day there with a #3 red, 5 greenspots and a couple other fish to fill out my quota for the day.

You didn't say nothin about your birthday, dude. If I'd a known, I would of left Old Blue in the lot and taken you up on your offer for the trip. You havn't lived until me and Nathan have sung ya the birthday song:) Ya gotta stop being so bashful Mike!

The drive lift is fixed and I'm looking at coddin on Wed and Fri.

I'm going to give the cod a break on Tuesday and see what La Jolla has to offer.

Back on the cod Wednesday with my old friend Loran. Give us a call on 68 or 72 and I'll let you know if our spot is holding.
