Left Friday at about 11:00. Good scoop of bait. Found schools of barries out side the of kelp area. Fished for fun and moved onthe the south 9 and northWest of North Island. Nothing much. Went to midle d grounds for YT. Went behind the large mound and picked up a YT 25 lbs. Had a BBQ. Got up around 4 and went to 425, cold water.Fished south section of 425 for a few YT & YF. Went south , almost to hiddedn bank, slow and no signs. Went toward390 and work up. Started to find patties with fish. Hit about 3 very large patties working north. triple on one, 2 YT and one YF, while trolling by it.. Others held misc fish. Finished the day with 5 YF & 3 YT. Plenty of fish for 3 guys. 2 old farts and a young stud. Boat ran great, approx 140 miles. Will be eating some fresh Ahi today. I am guessing about $900 worth of Ahi. Pt. Loma Seafood sells it for $30 lb. YF were about 15 lb fish. We got about 10 lbs of quality meat per fish. 5 X 10=50, X $30 = $1500. Not sure if that is correct. Cut it in half and still a lot of money. Seems like a lot of money or figuring too much wieght per fish, or something. Well eating fish is helping me lose weight. Good luck to everyone. According the Radio reports, Alibicore, YF, Blu fin, Skippies, Yellow tail, BNonnies, Barries, were all being caught everywhere. Albicore up to 40 and 50 lbs. Blufin 50 to 150 lbs down 70 miles south. 182 tuna. Butterfly tuna. Inside the 9 mile fish being caught. Now is the time to go fishing, whatever kind of boat a guy has.

Wheredid you go? I thought you went down about the 1010 or double 220 or 238 somewhere? Do you think that there is a better chance to catch your limit, by going south further?
