Today was a good day

Fished Cat Thursday and Friday with some of my normal fishing buddyies and Tony Salvador, a buddy that owns the 6pack charter boat Mardiosa. We all have fished together for a while and all fish really hard. Bait was tought to make but luckly our boys from Long Beach Bait were over at the island on the light boats, The Provider and Long Beach Carnage. They hooked us up with a nice fat scoop of bait. We worked around back and set up at around 4am. At gray the conditions had changed to the wrong direction for the spot we were fishing. The calico fishing had been good all night which was a good sign and the water temp rebounded after the last 3 weeks of wind. We started working down the island and found a spot with excellent conditions and within 5 mins we had the first fish onboard. Finshed up with limits and headed for home early and happy. Largest fish went 26lbs

Nice!!! Got held up at work today, but will be targeting them tomorrow
morning through Sunday...should have flashed the WSB when my brother
show you the halibut. He was on the bay boat today instead of his 27' Mackinaw.
