Well, I am officially a Blackman owner!
I bought the 20' that was for sale in the BOCA Classifieds. I will begin restoration ASAP and I'm looking for any advice and help along the way.

Thanks,

Brian

Congratulations on the new boat. I think Allan (Hamachi Girl) and his brother will be you best resources for anything you want to do on a 20'.

Thanks Mike!

I spoke with Steve Blackman yesterday and described the boat to him and he confirmed what the seller had told me which was the boat originally belonged to Don. I guess all the Blackmans originally belonged to Don, but this was one of his families boats. She's going to need some serious wood work, but hopefully not anything structural... Now I am just looking for a place that can tell me what I need to cut out and replace.

Thanks again,

Brian

Here she is!

The trailer broke on the way home from Huntington Beach to San Diego, but luckily it did so in a non-destructive way (for the boat) and right as I was approaching a rest stop near Camp Pendleton! It was great luck that I hope continues with my restoration :-)

I love the color scheme.

It's like the little brother to the "No Slack".
