It is an 1979 model w 280 single Prop Outdrive.

Will a newer Vortec 5.7 work w this outdrive?
I got a New rebuild engine still in shrink wrap, and NEW Marine Power manifolds and New Risers.

I am missing everything else. Does anyone have a used Volvo 350, dead or alive?


Also, do any members recognize the boat from ten or 13 years ago?
Seller says he picked it up in Mission Bay.

i have a 2000 volvo diesel 4 cyl and a dual prop outdrive, everything for 4k,,,this was a take out from a boat with duals engines, he wanted more HP,,

Is it a AD31, what HP? Do you have gauges, harness, transom plate and every thing a guy would need to get it installed and running?

I think the 31 might be a little light on HP to go in a 23' Blackman. I have the 40 and wish I had 25-50 more HP at times. I'm sure the 31 is lighter and that could make a big difference in the way a boat would perform. The Albacore Special is also a lighter boat than the Billfisher so it could be a good fit for that boat.
