Hi gang, Miss you guys!!! hope all is well. 2 1/2 years into the build. It's more than a passion now. Can't see the light at the end of the tunnel just yet, but ever day is a step forward. Hope to see you on the water soon. Be safe Joe

Joe,
Your skills, ambition, etc. are out of this world! The paint looks awesome and the pilot house looks really cool. Congrats on getting her this far already!

Looking good Joe. Do you think she'll be in the water for the 2015 Seabass season?

That would be great Mike. That has been the plan every season. At this point there is no planned finish date. Just one day at a time.

Looks fantastic Joe.
What is the purpose of the recessed areas on the side of the hull?

Thanks,
Brian

Brain, The side pockets are air intakes for the engines. I'm plan on having a 100% sealed engine boxes from the interior. I needed to pull so many cubic feet of air from the outside for the engines. They will be baffled and have a 6 inch rise on the inside

Thanks Mike, you interested in another canvas job next year?

Those Fireman always have to have a place to hang a hatchet, and it just looks funny inside the cockpit next to the flying gaff.

Joe she is really coming together, the deck in front of the cabin looks great as does all your glass work. Hope you have a reasonable stainless fabricator looks like that should be coming up soon and really dress her up.

i think it's where his water canons will be so never come up broadside of him.
He'll be well protected in that castle he calls a pilot house.
