My pops is in town and has never seen a squid before. What better way to get him aquatinted than put him on some Humbolts. I was a little concerned with him fresh off hernia surgery, but the bucket harness took the strain off the gut and let him put the wood to the squid.

We hit the same area Jeff hit a few days ago, just as the sun was setting. Dad drops down the big glow in the dark squid jig to some marks just off the bottom in 650'. As soon as he hit the bottom he was on. I fired up the generator and lit up the night with a 1000 watts of halogen and up they came. I was tossing the 6X iron and hooking up faster than we could drop them in the cooler.

Keep 4, released a few, then made it back to the bay by 7PM.

5.8 miles on a 260 should get you in the area. Put on the meter on bottom zoom and look for some marks near the bottom.

I'm glad you scored and they're still there. I'm down to my last bag, I tried it with crushed Ritz Crackers for breading and I can't get enough of it! :D

After you get it cooked up like that, top it with a little spaghetti sauce and a slice of mozzaella cheese.
