Bottom Fishing

We fished the bottom of the 9 Friday for limits of Grouper no reds Perfict weather.

Saturday we fished a little higher up the road for limits of reds another perfict day

I could kick myself we saw birds working a patty but decided to keep bottom fishing Phil goes out the next day and catches Yellowtail in the same area on a patty. ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR FIRST INSTINCT

Mike what are the dark colored fish in the second picture ??

Bank rockfish? A little thinner and a higher back than a normal rockfish.
