5/10 cod

Took the potential son in-law fishing today. It was his first saltwater trip so I opted for a somewhat sure thing and went rock coding. Not a great day in my mind but he had a blast and can't wait to go again. We had 6 of the better grade Reds, 4 Boccaccio, 2 Flags and a Copper. Fished the area up near the weather buoy.

Lots of bait in the water up there so look for the T-sharks to settle in up there in the next few weeks.

Cool deal, Mike. Looks like he passed the first test. I just picked up an engagement ring for my special girl today (wish me luck). She begs me to go fishing: that makes the decision pretty easy.
