That looks so awesome Mike. Incredible job. Bet it feels great to have that retrofit/reinforcement off your to-do list.
Brian
Mike,
Are you going to update your BOCA photo for No Slack?

I am trying to figure out a good way to get my 93yr old Dad on and off our CC. Up until recently he would use his walker to get down to the launch pier at Dana Landing. I would then strap him to me...
Great work!!!
The window mock-up makes it look awesome.
Do you have any plans to do the cockpit deck? Your success with the cabin could be the launch point for many projects!

Looks awesome Mike!
Did you reinstall it like the window frames? If so, are you going to glass it in to make it an integral part of the cabin if you end up liking it?

I still have not done anything to address my high bow at low speeds. hopefully before summer I will have adjustable trim tabs on the boat. In not, I'll be trolling around bow high again LOL.

That's a bummer Mike. Would you consider raising funds (e.g. dues) for website "membership"? I think you did that once before if I'm not mistake? I really value is visual as well as informational...
That will get you paddy hopping in short order! I saw your new pilothouse on BD. Looks really nice. Beautiful boat! Congrats.

That would be awesome. We are looking for an Outerbanks. Maybe one in "International Orange" will pop up... I think I actually saw a photo of one as some point in time.

Thank you guys for the advice and observations.
I will check my service manual for trim pin settings. If my situation can be fixed by outdrive adjustment that would be great!
If not, then I will...
When I bought our Fish Machine 20 the previous owner had put non-adjustable trim tabs (ParaTrim) on the boat. After our boat was restored I elected not to put the trim tabs back on. As a result, it...
John,
There is another member on this site that is selling an almost new 4-cyl that he took out of his 20.

John,
The engine box was not modified to accept the larger motor. The dimensions of the 4.3L (6-cyl) are greater than the original 4-cyl to the point that it is difficult to access/R&R things like...
John,
I have a 20' Blackman as well. Before I purchased the boat, the previous owner re-powered with a Volvo Penta 4.3L GS. It is a tight fit in the engine compartment and it adds considerable...
His in box is full.
Good point. Thanks for the observation.
Cheers,
Brian
Well she is pretty close to ready for this summer.
The Deck ended up coming off... along with almost every additional piece of the boat. What I calculated to be a "project" of a couple months...

The cover Bob did is awesome. With all the wacky accommodating my arch, I was amazed that it fits so beautifully.
Bob is still in business. Having my new boat cover made.

Thanks Mike,
I did the same search. That is the information that is on the tag of my boat cover. Unfortunately that number is no longer in service. I was hoping that maybe they changed locations...
Is Al Malone still in business?
I destroyed my boat cover. There is a tag on it that says "Al Malone" and has a contact number but the number is no longer in service...
Any info?
Thank you, ...
Thanks for the info Wa Mei.
We ended up going with marine ply, glassing the deck side and soaking the underside with resin/gelcoat.
Thanks again,
Brian
