Default Fire Escape's new motor progress

I got bored tonight Zack, and rebuilt the electronics on your new motor.

Looking good Glenn. You guys getting any closer to setting a date for the knucklle bustin party?

I'm doing a little warm-up this weekend. I drew short straw and got stuck on night shift for the 3 day weekend on this engine swap out. The overhauled unit comes stripped, all hoses, pumps and tubes need to swapped over and then we need to do an alignment before we can hit the start button on this 14 foot, 6 ton, 50,000 HP beast.

If we gut her from the V-birth back, I think we can make it fit. I'd go with a set of A10 props and a spoiler to keep the back end down on plane. She'll spins up to 10,200 at WOT, so wear your ear plugs.

It's been a long time sence we ran it on diesel so I can't remember our burn rate. The fuel pump is rated for something like 54 gallons a minute, so plan on burning 2500 gallons an hour if you're not hot dogging it. Knowing you, you'll have your foot in it so plan on bringing an extra roll of Franklins.

Tuesday sounds good... let me know. Even if hose doesn't come in, still got belts, sensors, filters, etc to do.

Mike and I have done my motor.. I have the pallet jack to move the motor, the A-frame to lift it, still not sure what Zack wants to do.
