Fished Saturday 6/16
I heard about the Bloodydecks thing a little late or I think I would have stayed home. Thanks for the warning Rob (Malu lani) We figured the islands would be a zoo and from what I hear I was right. So we went looking for a Maco trolled for hours for nothing. I found a small bump at 250 feet that looked good I tried the butterfly for the first time this year picked up a 24" ling on the first drop just as it got to the boat a small Maco took a swing at it but missed so we put the Bait o matic back out and picked up a 8lbs Maco. That was it for the day. Pictures well have to wait for next week I left the camera on the boat. Between this Maco and last years I dont think the total is 12 pounds we have catching the small Macos down pat witch is OK with me now we have to work on smaller Ts and I will be happy.
