    How was it Mike, one of my buddies went down Thursday 230 PM said strong current slow fishing - no reds or lings, few stinkys

    We had a hard time getting anything to bite on the high spots. No Lings, no Reds and only a couple small Bocaccio. We did most of our damage on my backup spot that's a area of flat hard bottom to the NE. The area was loaded with 2 pound Starries and Greenspot feeding on squid.

    The water was clean, the wind was light and the swell was small.

    The bait in SD bay was bigger than the macs I made off Torry last week. I'm hoping for smaller bait on Sunday's halibut outing. Phil Silva and I are going to drag the mud in the bay on Sunday.
