Ditch Bag
I just purchased a ditch bag and was looking for suggestions on what to put in it. So far I put an EPIRB,first aid kit,GPS,VHF,knife,flashlight,water, and an off shore flare kit with all the whistles and visual signaling goodies. I have looked at the lists on the internet and they seem to list enough supplies to sustain you on a desert island for a month. I think with todays technology (EPIRB's and GPS) that not all this is necessary. The furthest that I run off shore is the Cortes and on a long run I usually buddy boat. So what else would you guy's pack in a ditch bag.
