Fished all day Saturday watched boats hook up all around we we lost 3 landed one blue.

Went over to Dana Landing fueled up and picked up a Hot PINK Bait O matic
Sunday 6:30am the lines went in we got hit in ten min The back hoot bent almost to a 90 degree we lost the fish in the next hour we lost 6 fish used up all the bait I had so we put the pink one back in no bait we got hit in 2 min 45 min later she was on the step. I did not weigh her in 125 to 130 Great weekend.

Way to stay after it. When you had a double Saturday and sawed yourself off, I figured it wasn't going to be your weekend.

There were a lot of guys talking about bright colors on Friday and Saturday. With the fish higher in the water column, maybe the high vis stuff is a better way to go.

p.s. I'll ring you up for 50 point

Thanks for the pics on Friday Mike, I made a point to put that color out in the spread instead of my usual all dark, and it was the one that got bit. Pink was very hot from what I heard. A few on MJG too.

That is a nice fish and the perfect size for the table.

Russ. Nice fish. I like to keep smaller threshers. Replace the standard hooks that are rigged on the BOM. I straightened a hook out on a big fish, after dumping a 50 wide. Use 10/0 Mustad 7691. Sharpen the hook and take most of the barb off. Use sharpie on the edge that is filed to protect againsts rust.
