Default Late report - 8/16 WFO Dodos

Excellent day of fishing near the 267. Wife and I spent a couple of hours
on two different paddies for all the dorado you care to catch. Most were
in the 5-10 lbs. range, but the mrs. somehow managed to pull a couple pushing
15 lbs. in between feeding the kids. Kept a few for the BBQ.

We lost a larger yft after 40 minutes on the bass set-up. Had it up in the surface
3 times. I need a longer gaff! I will be in the general again this weekend to see if
I can retrieve the short shank 4/0 hook. Give me a holler on 72 if you see a 26'
    Skippy chasing the porpoise.

Those smaller dodo's are tons of fun for light gear. Especially when it's wide open like that. We ended keeping about 8 or so of those 5 lbers last week. Last night was blackened Mahi. How did you hook a YFT on bass gear? I know that most of the time the YFT's are small around here but, man there's always that chance of hooking that bigeye that's lurkin below. I think I'd be hesitant to use bass gear out there this time o year.
    Keep fishing!
