We went to the 43 and west. Picked up two nice yellowtail at a paddy along with 3 smaller dorado. There were unlimited dorado at this paddy. They were really fun on light line. Released all that were too small. Trolled the area and picked up two albies on jigs and one bait fish. We worked a large area of porpoise early in the morning. We couldn't get a bit. Tried stopping in front of them and throwing bait. Slow trolling sardines and conventional jigs. I guess they were not ready. Later in the day we went west and hooked a marlin on a albacore feather. He tailwrapped the line and broke off after some fantastic jumps. There were good counts reported in that area following the porpoise. We tried the porpoise later to the north west with the fleet , but by that time that school was too harrased. Busy canning albacore today. bill
