Sorry we misse the BBQ.

We had planed to run the boat in the morning and come to the BBQ after fishing. Well, after we got the boat on the trailer we called the wifes only to find out that a family member had passed away the night before. Hope everyone had a great time and we'll try to make the next one.

A nice relaxing afternoon, thanks to all. I tried to get a jump on 2009 with Hijole's Red Hotspot; everything showed up just as Pepe discribed it however 2-3' swells 6 seconds apart with a strong uphill current put a kabosh on it. I became a little queezy from looking at the GPS then the meter then back to the GPS don't forget to line up the islands, then bounce down to the deck drop a line and wait forever for 100 fathoms of line, it was just too much. Didn't get anything on my lower 9 spots either, I think Old Blue was pounding his spots too. My buddy went to Del Mar instead and did quite well, he said the weather wasn't bad up north.

Great food even the abalone was good.
Too bad on the wheather Jeff but they are there.
