    Default Raymarine autopilot

    Just got a new raymarine s1g with st8002 rotary Knob display. On clearance too! Anyone familiar with this system? If so how do you like it?

    My buddy just got one and it worked killer for two trips. He will have it back in 6-8 weeks.

    So guess what your saying is it is no good? A lot of guys on BD say it's a good unit?

    No, It did work very good but, it also only worked for 2 trips. They are fixing it so I gues we will see how it holds up. I have anether friend who has a Raymarine (not sure what model) on his Parker and he loves it. His has worked flawless for 4 years.
