Default Great Day near the 295...

Wow, what a maiden voyage on my brother's new boat
(25' Defiance). Oh how I tried to get him into an Outerbanks.
His type of fishing are the local reefs so I will give him a break.

Water temps dipped, so I decided to go further south than I
original planned and it paid off for us. First paddy we saw early
turn into a one stop shopping for all the YFT, YT and dodos we
want. We only kept 2 dodos since we prefer YFT and YT.

Can't post pics, but you all know what they look like...

    Defiance? Nice Boats!

Thanks for the call out there. Glad you got into them. Any size to the fish?
Most of our fish were small. We did get one decent albacore.

Hey Scott good talking to you too! They were in the 10-15 pounds range with some larger models here and there. The 2 dorado we kept were around 15 lbs. They just look big.

Not bad sized fish. I'm sure that you were able to plug the freezer with fish. We just had some excellent seared albacore last night along with some tasty ahi rolls. The family devoured the rolls and then were too full to finish their seared albie. As the dad, I had to do my part and finish everyone's fish.
