Posting Pictures

If you want to post a picture:

• Fist, upload the picture to Moment of Fame at
  • http://www.momentoffame.com/ (just follow their instructions)
  • After you get confirmation the picture has been uploaded
  • Go to the picture and right click on it (Internet Explorer) and select Properties
  • Highlight the address of the picture under properties and right click on it and select copy
• Click on start new thread in the forum where you would like to post
• Write whatever text you want to post
• Click on the Insert Image icon on the second row of the formatting options above the area where you are inserting the text (kind of a yellow square icon)
• Delete whatever may be on the text line, right click on the text line and select paste
• Choose OK and your picture will be inserted!

How do we do it since MOF is Done?

I will see if it's possible to enable picture uploading. I will need to develop some standards on uploading pictures otherwise folks might upload huge pictures and this will have a significant impact on the size of the site (storage=cost). I'll work on this over the next week or so. Once this is set up you will be able to upload pictures directly to the site and not use any other site as an intermediary. Will give it a "test run" and see how it works out.
