Furuno NAVnet VX2 or Simrad NSC 12

Thinking about redoing the Electronics on the boat,Need some input on these Two units.

Furuno! I love the 3 Navnet VX2 on my boat. I am replacing one of the 7" display with a 10" display.

I had Simrad gps/sounder on the skippy and decided to add a Furuno sounder. Should have went with Navnet 2 because a month later, the Simrad die! Phantom Marine send it back to Simrad for repair. I took 3 months of heavy calls between them and I to the service center to get it back and it cost me about $300.00...this may be due to an older unit, but I have heard of similar issues about getting their auto-pilot repaired...

ON FFs and Radar I would never stray from Furuno; their GPS units are good too however there are others which are easier to operate with more friendly features. Get as many 10" displays as you can!
