    I purchased a 6' roll of Tufcote S 803(#13699) in 1990 from Illbbruck, inc. (612)521-3555.
We didn't have the internet then but I remember they were very helpful. It's a dense material with a tinfoil on one side. I put it around the engine but the noise completely disappeared when I put a double piece behind the turbo. I had to get used to the quiet start because I would over-run the starter. I went from yelling to just talking while at full throttle.

    Thanks Pepe,

Just installed new 1 3/8 soundproofing on the engine hatch and couldn't be happier. Cut the noise in half.
