Default Cleaning tire scuff marks off of fiberglass

Last time I was out to get bait, my 18 ft. Parker got a lot of scuff marks from the protection tires on the edge of the bait barges. Always worked hard trying to remove these scuff marks on my Blackman. Well today I searched the Internet and searched in my garage. Suggestions were from laquer thinner to paint remover to soft scrub to Goof off. Well I found some tire cleaner brightner on a ashelf and thought if it cleans tires I imagine it would clean off tire marks. Came off of the gelcoat like butter and left a little smudge but I think it was more of some oxidation left behind.. I do not think it did any damage. Any thought on this. I am going to put the stuff in a bottle labeled scuff mark cleaner and put my name on it. I well let you guys know if the finish has any negative results.

    Default Sea Power

Try a product called Sea Power it will remove any mark and it leaves a good coat of wax. Works great on SS rails also removes Rust stains and again leaves a good wax coating.

Big White cleaner/conditioner works wonders. You can get it at the S.D. Marine Exchange.
