    Default Assembly lube for outdrive

    Hi All,
What do you use for lube on the stainless hardware when re-installing your outdrive?
I think I used Anti-seize from NAPA last time.
everything came apart ok but it wasn't in the water long and it was more like powder when I took it apart.
They use anti-seize on my trailer (aluminum) and most of that hardware can't be moved now.

    Thanks in advance.

    Default water proof grease

    I use water proof grease.

There have been some horror stories about using anti-size on the props.

Anti- seize will become never seize in salt water. A little bird told me me to use the west marine red grease on all and has never been a problem since.
