    Default 50 points please Mako

I had a long time buddy from Kansas come out to visit. Back in the day we spent many trips out at the 14 mile bank off Dana Point chumming for sharks. Its been 10 years since we fished sharks together, so we decided to give it another go.

Also aboard was his 10 year old son who grew up hearing his dad talk about shark fishin, so he was eager. His son of 10 years old reeled in all the sharks. I will post a pic of his son in the heat of battle when I get the pic.

The day started off with a very small mako then a few hours latter some blues. In the last hour we were able to board one more mako I little bigger then the first, maybe 50 pounds.

It really brought back some memories.

Are you coming down to SD this weekend? I'll be on the water Sunday with my daughter and her friend. Sandbass or halibut, IB or SD bay. If you're in the area I'll bring some bags for you to look over. Long ones, short ones, fat ones and a flat one.

    Thanks Mike,

Yes I would like to take a look at those fish bags.

I am going to be fishing offshore this weekend looking for the YT and maybe even some tuna. Any ideas on where to start?
