Thread: S.D. Bay Salmon

  1. #1

    Default S.D. Bay Salmon

My work buddy and I have been throwing plastics near ballast point at lunch time during the past month or so and catching quite a few dink halibut and a few bass. Every once in a while we'll get a legal butt. Today was slow except for the one 28" silver salmon that my buddy caught. Pretty good fighter. It even made a good jump for him. Thought it was a big corbina at first but, as he reeled it in, it was obviously a silver salmon.

Nope, Don't think so but, I'm no salmon expert. Sue looks like the pics I've seen of Silvers.

Could it have been a baby white sea bass?
