    Thanks guy's for the advise. I thinkI WILL GET a a new pump and try from threre. At least I know I have new pump and a spearI! If I need it or if some one else needs 1 off shore we HAVE ONE.

    How did u know? I must have told you.....lol.. I put a new flushing system on The PATRON and it works bitchn'. Replacing the raw water pump(on everybody's advise) loll......freash water pump today. Always have to work on BOATS. Thats why noahs ark was inveted... so MAN can work on boats from now on...

    Think'n abuot that too. Going 2 be bird huntining for the next 2 weekends.Then hopefully the tuna will be here. lol lol...Not planin on that and but one can only hope. My dogs are getting board... soo I got to get them out.

    Thanks Mike... pretty sure I fried the seal trying to flush her out when I got her home. Talked Grant @ sea & skin marine and he conferms the pump is F#$%ed up. So I am going to rebiuld and will let you know.

    When you get it apart, take a real good measurement of how much shaft is exposed on the engine side of the bearings. You need to press the new ones on to the same place. No shoulder or snap ring to press them to. It's all a matter of press and measure to get them in the right place.

    Your pump parts will look similar but a little smaller than these.

    Bad seal got the bearings wet


    Your pump uses 2 seals. As bad as this looks, it was still working fine with a little bearing noise if you really listen close.
