Thread: Raw water flow

    Default Raw water flow

Anyone run a vacuum gauge ahead of the impeller.
Probably would not cost much and then I could see what the impeller is doing.
also when an overheat alarm sounds a quick glance could tell you the sea strainers are plugged. or even the condition of the impeller once you got a baseline of vaccum when its running.

Welcome to the show!!! Glad to have ya on board. Good idea on the Vac. gauge. I can see my water flow through my raw water strainer. If you dont have a see through model of strainer than maybe a clear hose somewhere on the intake side to watch the air bubbles go by.
