    Question Regency Polaris RDF

Hi guys, Tunacious had this radio when I bought it. The original layout was a SS arch. This was changed to an aluminum tower. The RDF was not installed on the tower. I now want to install the antannae and use the RDF. I need to lenghten the coax cable and the two small wires from the Ant. Does anyone know if there are any combatibility issues with coax cable? I'm not sure of the polarity of the two small wires. They were removed at the Blackman shop. There are two small female holes in the back of the radio and no identifing marks. Any ideas?
    Thanks Bob

HI have the same radio. You can call A1 Marine 219-989-9588 or fax 219-989-9588. Idont think it makes any differnce. A1 is the only place that repairs Regency.www.a-1marine.com

    Default Polaris Repair

Do you have any experience with their repair work on 7200s ? Do they have parts? There was a retired CG Auxillary guy who lives by me in Escondido who repaired my 7200; he bought quite a few polaris radios from the Coast Guard and uses them for parts. The only problemis he's a little "too retired" so it's hard to get a decent turnaround time out of him. They still are great radios!
