    Default First rod

First go at this rod wrapping deal. Just what I need, another hobby right?

Blank is a 6'-6" Penn Power Stick that had some crusty guides. I think it's a 20-40# or something like that. Anyways I needed something to work out my "boat colors" and pattern on.

My next one is going to be a Seeker CSW868 12-20

Looks good Allan. I haven't built one from scratch either, mostly re-wrapping Big5 rods. I really like the blanks and reel seat on the $49 ProSabre series. I get about a year out of the guilds before they start tuning green and I cut them off.

$25 worth of stainless guilds and a few evenings and I've got a real nice rod that will last for years.

    Very nice Allan!

I dont think a first could have came out better, or a second, or a third!

Keep up the good work and pics.
