    Default Dec 16 quick report

Headed down to IB with a 1/2 scoop of the worst looking deens I've seen in a long time. 58 degree off color water and no current made for a short morning down there. Retreated back to the bay to work the rest of the outgoing tide for two sculpin and a short hali.

Great weather, just not a lot of fish to be had today. Maybe back at it Friday or on the weekend.

    Thanks for the report.
I made it out yesterday too, fished the Box Canyon area above Oceanside. The 240'to 280' areas produced some quality bottom critters for us. Water was crystal clear in the high 50s with large sections in 80 feet of water full of mackeral and squid to make for bait.. Lots of predators too with hundreds of porpoise, seals, opas and a few whales in the area all competing for breakfast. It was good to get out before the weather comes in.
