Default Looking for temporary slip for 3-4 days

Does anyone have a slip they would not mind renting out for 3-4 days?
I need to rebuild my trailer and I it will require storing the boat in an alternate location.
I have called around to marinas asking for "guest slip" availability, and the rates are shocking....

    Thank you!

I think the standard rate is around 30-50 per day; and there are a lot of vacancies here in San Diego, I'm at Marina Village and there must be 10-15 empty slips on my dock finger

I forgot to mention we have 3 jackstands that we use to hold our 26s up in the air above our trailers while we paint the bottom; its tricky but by moving the bow jack forward and rearward you could pull the trailer right out from under the boat. you just need a bottle jack and wood blocking to jack it up. Let me know if you are interested.

Another idea if it's not to late is to join the marlin club of san diego. For $125 / year you can use there docks for up to four consecutive days any time throught the year and also leave your trailer in their parking lot while your out fishing.

Thanks for the heads up Mike,
That's a great idea too! I saw the Marlin Club booth at the FHS. I think I have it covered getting the boat off the trailer (on dry land) now, so hopefully I wont need to slip it.

    Thanks again guys,

    Mike,
Thank you again for the offer! We got the trailer jacked up to begin removal/replacement of the hangers/springs/etc and it ended up being much worse than I thought. The channel (frame) is pretty compromise in a number of sections. So now I'm considering building a trailer, using the old trailer as my "make-shift" jig, or buying a trailer......

At any rate, I'm planning to be up and running before the BOCA trip to Baja.

Sorry to here about your trailer situation. We've all been there before.
I've learned to get the best under your boat as there's enough to worry about above the water line.
    Building your own?Toro bravo!
Used trailer?I'll keep my eye's open.
Buy new? Ck. Out ABT trailers. All aluminum. I'm very happy w/ mine. Come ck. it out.
    Good luck on the project.
