    Default Raw water pump observation

My raw water pump was leaking, so I call John about rebuilding it. He said all I needed to do was replace the seal. THANKS John.

I got my parts using the cross reference posted in a thread on our site.

    http://www.bocaboard.com/forum/showt...water-pump-41B

    I used Johnson pump parts.

The impeller had threads on one end of the brass sleeve to make installation and removal easier.

    The threads are most likely 16mm x 2mm .....I used 5/8 course thread bolt......You could tap your sleeve with a 5/8 x 11 thread.

Its looks to be cool modification.

It's about time someone made it easier to pull those impellers. I hope to see that same improvement on the impeller for the 40 pump next time I purchase one.

My suggestion is you tap it yourself.
Its just brass and there is plenty of engagement with the spline it you just tap down about 3/4 to 1"
