Preparing Lobster

Question about live lobster. If I'm correct about what to do after the catch, the tail can be seperated by hyperextending it beyond the head. Then one of the antenna can be used to clear the vein. If anyone can confirm or let me know the correct way, I'd appreciate it.

You are correct Phil twist the tail off take one of the antenna push the large end in about an inch or so and pull out the vien.
