Lucky S. Cal
Haven't been out for two weekends in a row. Want to know why? Well you S. Cal fishermen wouldn't believe it, but 25 knot winds and 12+' swells every 14 sec. Worse where the swells hit the shelf near Cypress Point. Of course when I last went out and limited on nice rockfish in two hours at Carmel Bay, the conditions were 6' every 11 sec. and 15 kt. winds. Oh well. Hoping to get out for albies, or at least rockfish before the end of the month. In the meantime...treating withdrawals by polishing boat and putting new tires on trailer.
