Was curious if anyone bought the moulds from the Blackman family , or even if they were up for sale? I'd like to get a mould for the 20' center console or the 23'.

Aren't they still a very viable producer of the best semi-custom SoCal boats? Steve IS carrying on the tradition, right? So I wouldn't think any moulds are on the market unless I missed some recent talk?

In speaking with Steve recently, they still have the molds for the 20 and 23 and will still make one for anyone who wants one.

I really had no idea. Thanks for the comeback. Is there a 23 center console model or was the 20 the only cc? Also, are they available with an outboard on a bracket in place of the volvo 6 cyl. I/O?

They have the mold for the 23' hull and from there they could outfit the boat any way you like. A few years back when I asked Don about molds for the 23', he told me they had everything but the mold for the flybridge.
