    Default 26' Blackman Billfisher

    I have a 1989 Blackman Billfisher HIN : BDB99291F989
In good condition and the reason I'm selling it is due to health reason's I'm the second owner and bought it Dec.2000. If anyone is interested I can send full details, via e-mail. I had it listed with a broker at Channel Islands Harbor for $59,950 which has expired and will accept offers.

Default Does your 26 have extended railings?

I spoke with you earlier via phone, my friend was interested in a 26 however I believe yours doesn't have the Duoprop drive which is unusual for this boat; the Blackmans don't recall building a diesel I/O without Duoprop. Did something happen to the drive or was this changed before you bought it? The performance would suffer tremendously without the 2 props IMHO. Does a trailer come with the boat?

The orginal owner had so many problems with Duoprop, that he changed back to the single prop. I had the old duoprop housing and several sets of prop's for it, but it would have cost about $3500 to put back together again.
I'm turning a 21' single prop and can cruise at 16nts at 3500 RPM and 23nts at 4300 RPM,
I also had a new cockpit railing made high enough to prevent my passengers from falling overboard while fishing. I raised it to 36" which is about mid thigh for most people. It's hard for me to believe that a fisherman would designe a fishing boat with a low railing like that.
But that is my only complaint on the boat. It's trully a great boat and I've had many boats before this last one.

Which motor do you have? My KAD42 is rated at 3900 max RPM. Does the 40 or 41 turn 4300 if not underproped?
