Tenacious hosts Tiger cubs outing
Sorry this is not a fish report.
Last night the Tenacious embarked 6 tiger cubs and provided an evening of fun and seamanship lessons in Mission Bay. The kids were given training in magnetic compass, radar, and GPS chartplotter navigation. Also discussed were methods which early mariners navigated, like celestrial navigation. While kids these days are smart, I didn't think that they were ready to learn celestrial Nav. Besides I'd need a good refresher myself before I could teach them that. Amazingly they all listened well and were able to answer all of the questions correctly earning them a "go see it" bead. Lotsa fun.
