Default 'The Reel One' Winter Project Saga continues

Been keeping busy working on most of the boat at night, because most of the boat is in the garage.

Pictures below of Outdrive before/after, Transom Plate before/after, Building/fitting a new rear transom deck cover in progress, and Re-doing all the fiberglass around the transom cutout.

New cover will be fiberglassed on both sides, unlike original.

On track to have back together by March 1.

    Default Transom Plate hole

    Glen,
Don't forget to increase the hole in the transom (inside the plate), so you can remove your outdrive angle indicator and steering arm. Nice work BTW... When's the next opening in boat yard If you need any help, give me a call.

    Default Nice work

    Glenn,

Nice work. I sure wish I could put my boat on a trailer, in the garage to work on her. This one day per week thing is making my restoration of the 50-50 a long project.

I'm starting to work on teak so I'm making some headway.

    Thanks for sharing the photos.

    Bill
