How about an update on the Reel One.
How about an update on the Reel One.
Sure. I'll post some pics in the next day or two (dislike the two part process of uploading to gallery then linking)
All plumbing, electrical, and accessories in engine compartment new or overhauled.
Re-fiberglassed transom plate cutout.
Overhauled (all new hoses, bellows, hydraulics, every bolt/screw/washer) transom plate reinstalled.
Outdrive overhauled, painted, reinstalled.
Engine installed after NoSlack helped and I had to make starboard pads to better align engine hieight to transom.
Floscan installed.
New rear transom hatch plate constructed, and first coat of paint done.
Painted battery box covers.
All new pole holders constructed out of starboard, replacing wood ones, made and installed.
Plan is to have her back in the slip on April 1, and on the leader board by April 30.

Now you truly know your boat inside and out good work she looks fine.

Glenn,
You pulled it off and everything looks bitchin! Here's to many trouble free fishing seasons, you deserve it! I'm not sure about those orange/red caps though, those colors make me panic!
Super job Glenn,
Now get out there and catch some fish!

How much did you raise the front of the engine to get the alignement right?

Built and installed those Starboard pads, then adjusted the mounts back down a little. So the total adjustment was about 5/8"
