    Default Tuna Chasing 6/24 - Who's Going

When diesel was $2 I would be all over it but the propect of a $200-300 fuel bill for maybe 5-15 chickens is still a little hard to swallow; we'll see what the talent does today, my buddies on the 26' No Bad Days will have a report this evening and I'll make the call then.

My buddy comped me a ride on his his boat friday. We hit the 1010 at day break and found the small BFT puddleing everywhere. There is so much bait in the area we had a hard time getting them to bit the jigs. We picked up 1 at #10 and 1 at #29 on the troll and 1 #21 albi on the monster deans.

Left for home by 11am and had a decent ride back up the line at 22knts.

The whole fleet was at the 1010 friday. Birds, bait and jumping Bluefin, just not a lot of biters for us in the morning.

The guys on the Shamrock made it back to the dock on Saturday around 8pm they fished the 1010 for nothing the weather was the worst they have ever been in they almost rolled twice. I think I picked a good day for repairs.

    Russ,

Don't you really mean "it was a good day to get over my hangover" ?
