    Default Saturday 10-7-06

    Short Version:
    We didn't do S#%T!

    Long Version:

Started at the 181 before grey light, set up the marlin jigs, found the best looking water of day and then traveled to the 312, 209, 277, and then off Avalon where we worked in 65.5 degree green water with no visable signs of life until 530 PM; however 2 fish were released up that way. Nice ride home @ 16-19 knts 200nm round trip but it looks like about 110 gals which is a little more than I'm used to but the boat ran great. Time Out and others had a great day with dodos, yft, and a few marlin just a little SW of the 181 after I left it. Sometimes you're hot, sometimes you're not, we sucked the big one!

    Rockcod Anyone?

    Fueled up Monday; 108 gal @ 2.95 226nm
