    Default maintenance

I'm considering a 23' Blackman with a volvo diesel/280 outdrive and would like to get an idea of what to expect in terms of maintenance. I've always owned outboards so this will be new to me. I live in southern baja and need to be prepared with tools, spare parts, oil, etc.

    Thanks!

WD-40 by the case; special tools (stubby wrenches for example) and sockets; keep the batteries charged;check the outdrive oil; keep the prop shaft well greased; spare set of props if you spin a hub; the boat will become yuor fiberglass mistress!!
